Too far gone

Good sixth book of the series. Liked the inclusion of other seal team members. Did not like the children's kidnapping.

Another fantastic SEAL story!
By Tracy Vest
A teen pregnancy and marriage to her high school sweetheart turns out to be a horrible mistake for Ellie Stuart. Broke and divorced, she relocates to Virginia and tries to make a new life with her three sons. But a dark and sinister civic organization known as the Centurions has other ideas and kidnaps the boys only for the authorities to think that Ellie simply had enough and killed them. SEAL sniper Sean Harlan knows she wouldn't harm them; he's her landlord and is attracted to her but considers her hands off since he doesn't date women with children. He takes some leave to help her find her kids only to be embroiled in the investigation since the Centurions need a fall guy. The closer they get to the truth, the guiltier Sean looks to the Feds thanks to the Centurions' planted evidence.
Melton's latest SEAL story has all the action-packed romance readers come to expect from her. She also manages to weave characters from her other novels in the series into the storyline without it seeming forced, as well as introducing new characters with interesting sub-plots without taking away from the central theme of the novel. This is the sixth in the series and she has had me hooked since day one!

A novel of the Navy Seals of Team 12
By Elaine C McTyer
Marliss Melton continues her wonderful series about the Navy Seal's. As with her other books this one combines romance, action, and thrills. I love her guys who defend our country and still have a warm inside that attracts women. No matter how hard they are with terrorists. They still have tenderness for those weaker than themselves. I don't know if this is true of every SEAL, but I like to think so. They give so unselfishly to our country. I would hope they do the same for their mates, who must wait while they defend freedom.
Ellie Stuart's life has not been great, she got pregnent in high school and married the man of her dreams. Only he turned into a nightmare. In the last novel she was able to return the son he was looking for to Senior Soloman. Later she followed him to Virginia and he and his wife have helped her while she goes to school and raises three sons.
Sean Harlan is a SEAL in team 12, he rehabs and rents houses in his down time. When Ellie arrived he lets her rent one of his houses and takes up time with her boys. Sean is a player and his only rule is not to date single mothers. He has been on a deployment for the last 6 months and has just returned to the states. He can't believe how much he missed the three boys not to mention Ellie.
Ellie knows Sean is a player and she is not going down that road again. But when her three boys are kidnapped Sean is not backing down, he will do anything to help find the kids. Ellie is at her wits end, who would kidnap her kids? Their father didn't even want them. The situation brings Ellie and Sean closer togather.
Now they are the center of the investigation. Instead of looking for the kidnappers the police are looking at Ellie. Someone is trying to frame them and it has to be someone with power. It will take Navy Seals to find her sons and the kidnappers.
Do not miss this one. I read every page and enjoyed them. The action is good and well written and the romance is tender. Read and enjoy.
